Extract the "Trim geometry" from a Trimmed Surface?

Just wonder, if there’s a way to extract the “Trim geometry (UV trim data)” from a trimmed surface?
(other than solid difference from the untrimmed cuz sometimes it fails)

Hi Justin -
I’m not sure if I understood the issue but perhaps something like this?

Hi Wim,

Yes the Green area “left-over piece” is what I want.
The solution below is what I got lately, works so far.

But what I’m truly curious is, if the UV trim data is existed in a trimmed surface and can even copy to other surface, should there be a way to simply “reverse” or “invert” a surface to get those left-over pieces?
