Extend command but with closed curves?

Hello,

I wanted to ask if there is a command that extends closed curves to a boundary curve like in the screenshot or if there’s already a python script existing which does that?

for the straight version you can subselect (for windows i guess ctrl shift and make a window selection around the upper curves) then use SetPt right click on the axis (which will deactivated all others and active the right clicked) then set the point to collect segments.

for the diagonal version i have no idea. that indeed might need a script. obvsiously you can just manually move the curve side with subselection along its own direction till it intersects on the side you want, but i assume you have a bunch.
