Exposing hidden information in views/plans/sections

I have a problem I want to illustrate on a simple model:
There are groups of 3D objects attached to each other:

In-between there is a 2D information which one can see only in ghosted or wireframe mode:

This information is critical and I would like to expose it on a VA views as a separate layer.
This is what I got at the moment:

This is what I would like to have:

Is this kind of information bypass possible? Any trick to achieve it, even it two steps?

Hi @Piotr,

So what you need is to see hidden lines when using the Hidden display mode. This is not possible at the moment but it is something we have in our list for future development. I will let you know when we have news about this.

Just to be specific.
I don’t want to see the hidden lines of a geometry because that would trash the drawing.
I am only interesting in exposing hidden 2D info that is stored on a specific layer.
I know it is tricky. I am looking forward to hearing about new solutions.

Hi @Piotr,

You can also sort those curves using the command BringToFront so they will be drawn on top of other objects. Consider that drawing order will affect all viewports, so those curves will be visible in other views, so you will probably need to hide the layer per detail.

Hi Eric
Unfortunately, It is not working for me.
After bringing curves to front they are visible in a model (from every angle, as it supposed to be) but VA drawing are generated without them.
Have you tried this yourself or just guessed it might work?
