Exporting Rhino Template with Embedded Custom Textures

Hi hello!

I want to assign textures to layers and images(logos) on layout files and create a rhino template.
when I do File → save as template the textures dont get exported. is there a way they can be exported. should I write something in Python or is it possible with rhino commands?

Hi keerthana -

In the file you have posted, there are no objects on the one layout. One material is assigned to a layer and several materials are in the file. When that file is used as a template, all of that is in the new document in a quick test here.
Can you be specific about what it is that doesn’t come across?

The current version, by the way, is 8.18.
