Exporting from 8 to 5 loses background colour and grid

Hi,
Rhino8 (up to date)
select an object and export to Rhino5 and in 5 the background and grid is gone.

bar export to rhino5.3dm (2.1 MB)

I am having everything I do in V8 fail and need to continue in V5 to get job done but cannot get my calib sheet into V5 now with this happening.

Hi Steve -

Any time you move between Rhino 5 and any version that comes after it, you will need to deal with the ground plane.
