Export mapping co-ordinates

When I open skp or fbx files, quite often the textures and mapping co-ordinates are retained with the file.

I have created a rhino file that uses custom mapping of textures on most objects and I need to export this to Maya. Is there a way to export this so that the mapping and textures stay linked to the geo?

I got it!
FBX with ‘export mapping’ checked did the trick…
