When I export a shape as .ai then open it into Pshop 24 or 27, it has a white border.
I want it to be to the edge, so whats going on.?
Just how can I export a shape into Pshop without margins.
if the shape is 2.5cm wide in rhino I want to say to pshop[ width 2.5cm, not have it with white at 2.5cm.
pdf was a mess the black hatch was patterned.
Is there a way of getting what is vector shapes into pshop as vector, so it can be scaled before committing it into raster mode ?

despite bring to front on black axe and the cross threads, when export as .ai then open the ai into pshop they vanish. Just see white shield and black outline.
whats the trick to getting artwork into pshop, ?
when exporting as .ai ?
( I used cmyk export and open as cmyk, as I recall RGB fails)

The bounding box of the objects measures 2.095 by 2.496. To avoid a white border, you should use more decimals in the export options.
I’m not seeing that here. Could you attach the PDF file?
As mentioned several times before, we recommend using the PDF format. The AI file version that we use is very old. This can lead to issues when importing in other applications that expect newer versions of that file format. When trying to open an .ai version of your file in Inkscape, for example, that application crashed. We have no plans on updating our AI export at this time. Please stick to PDF.

I’d simply make a screenshot/ ViewCaptureToClipboard if you need higer res, and paste in PS
Set your display background to solid white then in PS trim the image using white color.
Ideally the lines are also hatches, so that they scale with the overall image.
