Hi, can anyone help me? i want to extractsrf cause then i want to tender whit a differente material tan the interior walls but when i run the command the surface is “send to back”, it isnt the same as what happens next (the surface red is ahead)
you know you can have per face / surface Material on a polysurface ?
(without spliting / extracting / triming …)
use namedSelections to store the selections for the different material assignments / change them later.
and sorry - I do not fully understand, what exactly happens after you extracted the surface.
maybe post a sample file ?
But maybe I am just confused as “_sendToBack” is command to influence drawing / printing order.
