Excessive Background Process when Rhino is Not Running

Can anybody explain to me what this background process is? It happens after I close Rhino, completely no longer running, and hasn’t been for an extended period of time. It’s still going now, with the same scale of system resource drain, 30 minutes after I closed it…

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is not a background process, this is a “stuck” Rhino that is still running, even if you don’t see the window. You can kill it with Task manager, but the question is - does this happen all the time, every time you use Rhino and close it? If so, there is something that needs to be investigated further - this should not happen. Do you have any plug-ins installed?
