Evolved Mannequin


This guy started as a basic run of the mill mannequin, but over time evolved a bit.

This is one case of product rendering where I think Cycles is enough for a lot of people where indirect reflections or refractions (like in Jewelry) are not really a factor.

A more advanced engine like Bella would offer benefits that would be too subtle.
For example the shoulder hinge throwing caustics on the side of the black plastic or the illumination distribution on the head (I think Cycles plastic is lambert based and Bella is Oren Nayar based ?)
