Eto Dockable Panel (MacOS)

Looking for information, tutorials, … for creating a dockable Eto panel for a Rhino plug-in on Mac. All information i have encountered so far is aimed at Windows and I don’t get it working on my Mac.

I am writing the plug-in in Visual Studio Code via the Rhino Plug-In Template (acc. Rhino - Your First Plugin (Mac)). Ideally I’m looking for a sample that just includes the Dockable Eto Panel with some Eto Controls in it as a blueprint to start working from. I mainly struggle with understanding the organisation of the files to get it running. Thanks.

Hi @Matthias_Dzwk,

Check the developer samples repo on GitHub.

This project has a sample.

Found that already, but that is oriented towards Windows (e.g. filepaths and referring to Rhino.exe). I’m not experienced enough myself to convert all necessary data to Mac equivalent). I got the tip to start developing in Windows rather than Mac, then this repo might be useful again.

@Matthias_Dzwk - you said you were looking for sample code. I have pointed to some. I take you’d rather have a project you can build and run?

@dale I don’t think I understand you. Thank you very much for pointing towards the information, but indeed, a (blank or basic) dockable eto panel I could use as a starting point for further development would be amazing. But that is what this sample sort of is, no?
