I’m creating a parametric cable arch bridge. I have analysed the model in one arrangement of hangers but as soon as I change the number of hangers or hanger angles I get an error saying I have rigid body modes in the system. I have tried using the eigenmodes component but still no luck. Is there any way to find out which members are moving freely and causing the issue?
it seems that when you change the number of divisions, something in the setup of the geometry is incorrect.
The ConnectedParts component displays multiple branches which means that you have many unconnected elements, and with the Eigenmodes component you can see that there are members which fly around.
You need to check the setup to make sure that all the elements are connected properly.
