Error Reporting Dialog when opening Rhino 8

Hi there,

since i’ve installed R8 (8.8.24135.14001, 2024-05-14) i got a strange issue. If i open R8 using the shortcut on my desktop, it actually brings up the Rhino Error Reporting dialog but it does not crash. R8 stays open in the background even after closing the Error Reporting dialog. (I’ve send in the report once to close this dialog)

Anyone else have seen this ?

Hmm, haven’t tried installing 8.8 yet. Let me see… Nope, no problem.

You don’t have the latest - there were several problems with Tuesday’s 8.8 release, so a new one was released yesterday… (8.8.24137.3001, 2024-05-16)

Try downloading that one and see if the problem goes away…
