I’ve been seeing the following error message very frequently lately when trying to load a model via the Shapediver API:
A failure occurred while creating the Shapediver session. Model could not be loaded.
Status:
Error Type:
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/136.0.0.0 Safari/537.36 Edg/136.0.0.0
Until recently, this error only appeared occasionally, but over the past few days it’s been occurring 7–8 times per day. I suspect that the Shapediver API is temporarily unreachable for a few seconds, causing the session creation to fail.
Does anyone have ideas on how to reliably work around or fix this? Is there a retry pattern or timeout setting you would recommend?
Please provide more details on the application that provides this error message. Is this an application developed using direct embedding of the ShapeDiver viewer? If so, could you provide a link that allows to reproduce this, or details of the network communication from the browser developer tools?
The model is embedded with shapediver embedding ticket on website: Traversen-Konfigurator - Carl Stahl GmbH. This message we recive, when Shapediver don’t response to the call. It’s for very small moment. When we try the product after this error message, it’s still working fine. But now this error is spamming a lot. We don’t know if it’s a real error or not.
