Erratic non-display of objects in window or print preview/print

I have a drawing with a variety of extrusions on it. I’m looking at it in the top-down view.

Some of the extrusions may, or may not, decide to display themselves on the screen, print-preview or printer.

It’s not an object size issue, they’re the same size as other items that display. If I zoom in and out they may well display properly – until I try to print them. Then the print-previewer shows an image and the items have gone invisible in it. (They stay invisible in the print, too.)

It’s not always the same items.

SelBadObjects finds nothing.
SelSmall finds nothing.
SelSelfIntersectingCrv finds nothing.
SelNonManifold finds nothing.
SelOpenPolySrf finds noting.
SelDup and SelDupAll find nothing.

What the heck is going on?

Hi David - with nothing selected and that view active, what does Properties show as camera coordinates and distance to target?

Oh, I see! Thanks!

I’m only using this as a 2D design tool for this project so I hadn’t looked at it from side views. Your question made me realize that some of the extrusions I’m using to display color on are way too high.

Thanks!
