Sometimes Rhino does not overtly crash, but goes into an endless state of calculation or locks up. I use the windows Task Manager to End Task (if possible).
I notice that when doing so, if I reopen Rhino by clicking on the Rhino program icon and select the crashed file from most recent files, no autosave crash recover prompt appears nor does the file contain recent changes to it. If I drill down to the Rhino autosave folder and open the file, it will contain recent changes to the file. But, nowhere does a recover prompt appear.
Does Rhino not treat “End Task” as a crash?
