Emboss - Technique or Plugin

Hello Everyone.

I need to create some detailed, embossed patterns that will be carved out of wood via CNC. I have found the Rhino Emboss program by TMD, and it seems perfect, however the plugin is not loading properly. I have been in contact with TMD (Gemvision) for about 5 weeks now and have received very little support for trying to solve the problem. It makes me nervous to buy this plugin when I can’t even get Tech Support for an installation problem.

So I have a two part question:

1. Has anyone had this problem with the plugin and found a solution?
2. Is there another plugin that could achieve this or maybe a native function in Rhino that could work?

I’ve been using Rhino for about 23 years now, and I know the program pretty well, so I am open to any techniques that anyone has. I have less experience with Grasshopper, but can still get by, if there is a function in there that would get me where I need to be.
