Where should the default set of environment map files be located for V6?

Should be:
C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\6.0\Localization\<yourlocale>\Environment Maps

Looks like the Environment Maps directory is missing on my laptop for 6.0. It’s there for 5.0 and for 6.0 on my laptop. Should I just copy the directory or do something else?

Hi David - does that \Localization\en folder exist at all on your machine?

Hello - Yes, the `\Localization\en-US folder exists on both machines for 5.0 and 6.0 on both machines. The Environment Maps folder is missing from it for 6.0 on my laptop.

Hi David - try running ToobarRerset and restart V6… any btter, or different?

Hi David - a couple more things to try…

  • Right click on the V6 icon and choose ‘Run as administrator’ - does it show up? If so, close and re-open normally…
  • Use the ‘repair’ in the Programs and features control panel. (Right click on Rhno 6 > Change > Uninstall)

If that gets us nowhere, I’ll seek a bigger brain…

I copied the Environment Maps folder from 5.0 to 6.0 and it is working now.
