Elliptic Profile and Stairs

Hi Guys,
I am trying to build an suspended elliptical ramp and staircase.

1. For the ramp I drew a profile but I can’t find a way to align profile source plane with curve planes I have created?

2. And how would go about creating steps on a elliptical curve?
