Is it possible to have an ellipse offset similar to a circle offset. Not made out of many control points as it is now?
Especially that there is a Loose option for curve offset in R6…
Offsetting an ellipse will not give you another ellipse, because the offsetting procedure guarantees a normal distance (within tolerance) at each point of the curve. This is only guaranteed for a circle; not for an ellipse.
