Elevation Profile of Path on Surface

Hi There,

I’m designing a hiking trail using a surface (generated from contours using PATCH). The trail curve is projected onto the surface. I’d like to be able to generate an elevation profile of the trail so that I can show height at each km (you often get these with trail maps). Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Project the path curve onto the world XY-CPlane. Loft the curves to create a vertical surface. Unroll the surface onto the CPlane.
