why there is no default object layer for “elements”

You’re right! It seems we forgot to add an option for the “Element” object. I’ve added an entry in our bug tracker. We will fix this for VisualARQ 2.12.

Hi @11170 , we have just released a new version of VisualARQ (2.12) which adds a default object layer for “elements”.

HI I have a related issue. My default VisualArq object layers in properties are missing. I restarted everying, Started a new visualarq file with the original installation template and the layers and default object layers are missing. How can I restore the default automatic visualarq object layers?

Thanks for any help! VisualArq works fine for a few weeks but then this happens. Then I need to do a complete reinstallation.

Yes, I resolved the issue. Some of the template files got overwritten somehow and lost the settings. I have not made my own VisualArq template to improve my workflow.
