With the release of RIR v1 candidate, we now have element binding (aka element tracking). However, since the full spectrum of OOTB nodes isn’t yet complete, many are having to use user objects as supplied on the website. These are fantastic by the way as an interim solution.
Is there a way to incorporate element binding into Python-based components? It would be great if there was a simple boiler plate we could use.
They mentioned that this would be coming in the next release, v1.1 I guess. (I’m also eagerly awaiting this)

The next major release is Sept 14th; new components, additional documentation, fixes and more. If it doesn’t make it into this release, then most likely the next.
I am in the daily builds channel. Is something other than those in daily builds going to be released?
There will be RC out today at some point, then a major release on the second Tuesday of the month, which is the previous release candidate released as Stable, then the 1.2 rc will be available. Which is where the new features will be for a month.
