Elefront 4.3 changes layer's color when baking

We have come across an issue where Elefront 4.3 will change an existing layer’s color to black when baking to that layer. This did not happen with previous versions of Elefront, but now that I’ve upgraded to 4.3 (and 5.1.5), the following is occurring:

Then I hit Activate on the Elefront Bake component in this script:

Layer state after:

Before, when I had only 4.2.2 installed, the layer’s color would remain red.

If this can be fixed we would greatly appreciate it.

Does this still happen if you use the Value List component instead of writing on a Panel?
