Rhino Version
Version 8 (8.1.23325.13002, 2023-11-21)
Brand new Mac mini (Intel) fresh from box isolated for RH8 testing. Eval version of Rhino. No other software installed.
Attempting to test migration of custom toolbar/commands from RH6.
I have created a custom Toolbar called “00 My Custom Toolbar” and with three “macros”( to me macros are toolbar buttons in RH6).
- A user created test macro with a custom .svg image but no command called “00 My Custom Macro”
- Stock “Align Vertical Centers”
- Stock “Align Horizontal Centers”.
Make Toolbar visible
I shift drag one of the align macros to remove it from the custom toolbar, select “Yes” from the delete dialog. Dialog disappears but the macro doesn’t disappear. Tested with both the custom and the stock macros. Close Rhino and restart and the macro is now gone from the toolbar.
Also, once you have created a custom toolbar, added macros, and dismissed the dialog there is no option to edit the toolbar to add additional macros that I can see. When I relaunch the toolbar dialog and highlight the custom toolbar there is no edit capability. You have to delete it completely and recreate it to add additional macros.
How do I add the macros I deleted above back to my toolbar? Am I missing something?
