Editing a closed curve without altering it's area

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to Rhino Forum. I wondered if it might be possible to draw a closed curve and constrain the area within it whilst editing the curve?

Hi Steve,

The command DimArea will provide you with an associative area dimension that will update as you edit the closed curve. I’m not envisioning a way in which any edit of the perimeter can be made without effecting the area measurement within though.
