Hey @stevebaer we’ve just noticed the option of generating a pdf when you choose save as either in model space or layout space. Could you tell us what the difference is between this pdf and the pdf’s that we’ve all been generating when we print to say… AdobePDF, or PDF995?

The PDF generated using SaveAs -or- printed to using the plain “PDF” destination uses the new V6 built-in PDF generator instead of relying on printer drivers like AdobePDF and PDF995. The built in PDF generator should be creating nicer output for post processing in something like Illustrator since the curves are going to be cubic Beziers instead of the dense polylines that the traditional printing code generates.
