Edges not the same as surface

Hello, I have probem with this surface. I cannot use merge as it said the edge is too far

Yes, that won’t work, and the surfaces are “somewhat insane”.

If you can’t get closed objects out of the program that created those surfaces, all I can suggest is to create clean, new surfaces based on what you have in this file.
