I’m baking closed polysurfaces of randomly oriented plywood parts as blocks in order to keep a CPlane attached to the object. It not only makes many things in Rhino easier but also when rendering in Keyshot I can map plywood texture and I know the UV direction is correct.
Unfortunately one thing seems impossible:
For preview in Rhino it would be nice if I could switch on Edge Softening without having to open each block and switch on edge softening. I have hundreds of these blocks. I was expecting the edge softening would soften whatever it can soften and ignore whether geometry is inside a block…
I saw I can apply edge softeing to a mesh in Grasshopper but so far the result is a mesh and I want to keep the parts as polysurfaces.
Any ideas how to do this?
