It seems there isn’t an way to easily toggle the scale hair on and off within the tool.
It would be handy to get a clean view of the surfaces in question by momentarily hiding the hair…at the moment it’s distracting and you either have to set the scale to 1, or exit the tool…
It could be a simple check box next to the scale setting.
