ETH Zurich is inviting applications for the E4D Winter School 2016 “Sand: an (in)finite resource?”.
Master and doctoral students with a background in architecture, engineering, urban planning, geology, chemistry, and related fields are welcome to apply. The program revolves around the so-far untapped resource of desert sand and the question of how to activate its potential as an alternative building material for future cities.
The three-week program will take place at the TU Berlin campus in El Gouna, Egypt, from 9 to 28 January 2016. The application deadline is September 30th.
