I’m trying to import a dwg file containing pipes using 45° elbows
Both in rhino 7 and 8 the import transforms the elbows into donuts (loops).

Explode and retrim the surfaces.

Hi @sebastian.duque,
Can you please attach a dwg file that has just one of the two problem objects and nothing else? It will simplify debugging knowing that the only object in the file is the one we want to dig into. Also, is the DWG file from Rhino or some other source?

Hello Tim,
Thank you for your interest.
The dwg comes from an export from TopSolid.
The geometry in TopSolid is modelled as a solid bar along a line, then emptied inside using 1mm thickness.
Attached the dwg file in which the only geometry is this elbow:
