DROP DOWN LIST ? as Text-Object/or other? also, more layout stuff

I’m wondering if there is a way to make a text object appear as a TEXT – let’s say it’s the word “Strawberry” on the layout sheet… and when you click it <or something else?> there’s a drop down with pre-programmed(?) other words, like “banana” “blueberries” etc. and you can choose one and then it changes the text object to that choice ?

Also, does anyone know of a script that will spit out the scale of a layout viewport into a text object? I’m also looking for a script that will spit out the camera view that the viewport is using… ??? Or, maybe that means that the viewport needs an assignment to assign the view as a saved camera view? thanks…

While I’m here, I’m also looking for a line that I can slide(drag/move an endpoint, assuming a 2-point line) that will slide words with it-- while staying at “same location” from the point you drag?

It would also be cool to find a list of all the people at mcneel and who to tag for certain topics?

Sorry if I am tagging the wrong people @stevebaer @leopoldomonzani @mary @Japhy @Gijs

That can be done with a text field
