I’ve created a center box and the middle points to all of its faces. I want to draw perpendicular lines through the middle points of just 4 faces (I want to exclude the top and bottom faces). Is it possible to do so?

Yes.
But the order of the faces depends on how you created the box object.
If with box constructors on World XY, it should have top and bottom faces as the last ones:
