Draw CPlane grid on TOP of geometry?

Is there a command to show the construction plane grid over the top of geometry? I’m looking to do this:

ConstructionPlane.DepthBuffered Property

It seems to be set to false by default.

I was expecting to find this setting in Document Properties -> Grid -> Grid properties, but I’m not seeing it.

Hi Mattytraxx,
Welcome to the Rhino forum!

You’ll find this setting in Rhino Options > View > DisplayModes > Grid

But it does not seem to work like expected. Maybe a bug? @pascal

Hi Jess - yeah… the ‘On top of all objects’ setting is really ‘As in 3d space’ , here, not on top, exactly, is that what you mean?

Hi Pascal,
Thanks, you are correct.
I was thinking about another tool…

Vielen Dank, @Jess!

The setting was exactly as you described, under View -> Display Modes -> Shaded -> Grid. Looks like the “Grid appearance” can be configured individually for each of the various Display Modes (including Wireframe, Shaded, Rendered Ghosted, X-Ray, etc.).

For anyone coming across this in the future, I set a construction plane to slice through an object so you can see the difference this setting has:

Fantastic!
