I would like to draw an arc with a radius of 5000 connecting points pt1 and pt2.

Do you need tangency with the provided start & end curves? If so then you can’t have variable radius if those start & end curves have fixed length + tangency condition.

no need tangency, just througth 2 points and radius 5000
