Drag selection side view doesnt select dims V5 and V8

Hi,

v8 same as V5 drag selection box left view fails dims.3dm (2.4 MB)

any reason why dragging a selection box in the lower right pane fails to select the dimensions ?
V5 and V8

If I recall correctly this was implemented as a request. These dimensions are perpendicular to the view and will therefore not be selected.

Hi,

But if its doing it in V5 ,and we are now V8
when did the request go in ?
One expects it in all views, else get caught out…
basic CAD stuff.
