Drafting image plane

I want to place a reference image to a surface on a CPlane to use as a guide for modelling but can’t see how? Please could I be directed to a tutorial or guide?

Hi Gavin -

It’s probably easiest to just drag and drop an image into Rhino and use the Picture option.

thanks, I’ll try that. I previously (years ago!) used Maya and could mapped an image onto a plane to use as a curve guide

Hi Gavin -

You can do that in Rhino but you then have to have that plane in Rendered mode to be able to see it. You’d also need a plane with the correct aspect ratio or mess with the mapping. When you use a Picture object instead, Rhino does that automatically.
