Draft analysis on custom cplane?

Hello,

I’m trying to get the draft analysis tool to recognize the z axis of a custom cplane. I oriented the cplane on the end face of the conical shape pictured. Within the draft analysis menu I set to ‘c plane Z’ but it doesn’t seem to recognize the cplane I made. What setting needs to be changed?

Trying to set up custom cplane draft analysis for direction of draw tooling design.

Hi Justin - click Set and then click in the viewport. I think this is done this way to make the display ‘hold still’ and not vary per viewport unless you specifically ask.
