# Double click open issue

Hi all,

When I double click on a file which was not created by Rhino 7 (even it is a 3dm file) and Rhino 7 is not running, rhino 7 starts but does not open the file… However, it can be opened using file-\>open command…

Any idea??

Hello- by this do you mean that V6 and earlier files do not open and V7 files do? can you please run `SystemInfo` in Rhino and copy/paste the results here?

Yes… any file earlier v7 and any file already associated to rhino (eg dxf, dwg …)

Hi -  
As Pascal requested, please run the Rhino `SystemInfo` command and copy-paste the result here.  
Also, please copy the complete command history when Rhino 7 has opened and also paste that information here.
