Does Rhino6 use Python code to do this?

Hello,
I often open Rhino options page, Put On Sidebar visible and Lock docked windows of Toolbars options.
I want to use Python code do this options. Does it possible?

HI @Alen_Russ,

for the first this seems to do it:

Rhino.UI.ToolbarFileCollection.SidebarIsVisible = True

but i have not found the second in RhinoCommon. Maybe you can script the command:

_ToolbarLock

Note, it is a toggle without command options.

Hi @clement,
Thanks for your help.
It works well. Good job.:yum:

Hi @clement ,
In the Rhino6, if I have selected one curve or surface, it will display the instant details information of its degree and contral points in the viewport. Does Python code make it work?

Thank you.

@Alen_Russ,

i do not have this preview in the upper right corner. Do you have any plugin installed whichs created this ? Or did you create this in Photoshop and want to make it with Python ?

Hi @clement ,

Thanks for your reply. I create this in the Photoshop.
Yes, I want to make this with Python. Because I often need to enter _What Command for the details of the selected curve or surface.

Thank you for your support.

Hi @clement ,

Does Python code make details display like the image created in Photoshop?

Thanks,

Alxen

Hi @Alen_Russ,

if you create a custom display conduit by sublassing Rhino.Display.DisplayConduit, you should be able to query if only one curve object is selected in your custom DrawOverlay event. Only then, you could get the curve properties like degree, pointcount etc. and display them using e.Display.Draw2dText.
