Do uploads to the Package Manager have a lower speed limit?

Hi Guys,

Due to a death in the family I’m working remotely on a less than ideal internet connection.

Well one that is fine for everything else I work on EXCEPT uploading YAK files to th Package Manager.

These seem to stall for a good 5 min or more and then show this error:

> Error while copying content to a stream.

Does the Package Manager have a lower speed limit/time out on uploads? If so could it be adjusted a little for those of us sometimes needing to work on less than first world internet connections?

Cheers

DK

OK, I changed from the R8 version of Yak.exe to R7 version and now have this error message after about 5 min:

> API returned 503 but the error couldn’t be deserialised

Is the Package Manager actually alive for uploads right now?

OK - spent over an hour trying to push an update to the package manager - I give up for now. Kind of sucks if its only built for first world users.

The package server is up, but I think you might be hitting a timeout. For right now, are you able to send the package(s) to me here via DM? Or upload them to cloud storage and send me a link? I can then publish them for you.

Sorted, Thanks you @will

Hi all,

I’m currently back in my office and working with a somewhat decent connection (by South African standards, at least).

However, for the past 12 hours, I’ve been completely unable to upload anything to the Package Manager. Each attempt results in this error message after about 5 minutes of waiting:

Has the Package Manager been geo-locked recently, or have there been any recent changes to upload timeouts or regional restrictions?

If not, are there any known workarounds or alternative upload methods I can use to publish my plugins?

Thanks,

DK

Getting this again today :frowning:

Is the package manager down again? I’m getting 503 errors on YAK uploads.
