Distribute fails on this geometry

See below. This doesn’t look equally distributed to me.

Yeah… this tool uses bounding boxes so it’s tricky when you want to nest like this - you need to set the gap to say -150.

Ah I see. So the problem is the fact that the bounding boxes overlap? I’m not sure I get the problem with that though. Can’t the tool use the center of that bounding box?

Well, right, using centers it ought to be able to manage… I’ll see if I can figure out what it’s doing.

Yes it does and I guess that makes sense, but I wouldn’t quickly have thought of that.
