Displaying utilization of beam elements

I’m needing some help visualising utilization ratios of beam elements.

I have a model of a steel frame for which I’m trying to check ratios according to EC3. I’ve set the allowable ratio to 0.7 and hopefully you can see when I’ve sorted the output I’m getting 0.69. However, when I plug this through a model view and then beam view the colours show a range from between -35% and +30%. How to get a coloured view of the actual ratios?

A second question relating to the checks, you can see in the bottom left some of the output from the utilization calculation. kyy, kzz etc are shown as equal to 1. However, I’ve amended these upstream via a modify beam element to all equal 4.5m. I’ve checked.

Any help would be welcome.

The output from the BeamView shows the stress strength ratio, whereas the utilisation component does a EC3 check. You can use the values from the utilisation component to create your own colour mapping onto the elements.
