PDF draw order bug still

Hi guys, this is getting tiresome… There are still draw order bugs in PDF printing and it is really frustrating to never be able to trust neither the viewport nor the “WYSIWYG” preview of the print dialog. Have you done some changes lately? [image] Notice that all the 2D trees and and bushes are gone in the preview (and also in the print)

Hi, I’ve been using Rhino a long time now for architectural purposes. Since the introduction of Rhino 7 I’ve been experiencing issues with the draw order of hatches in certain display modes and with printing. When making a 2D drawing with curves and hatches the hatches are printed in front of the lines. So when viewing the printed pdf, the lineweight is half of what it should be. And especially pattern hatches in front of the boundary lines look messy. This is solved by selecting all the hatch…

Printing draw order inconsistent

Hi, I am having some issues with the drawing order, specially coming to blocks. I have read old threads and see that the development on this is on hold. I am aware of the workarounds (exploding blocks, using distance to camera), my issue is that the results from PDF print seem to be inconsistent and differ from what I get when working in “drawing mode” (top view) and layout. Hope the explanation is clear. [1 top] Working in top view, I can use the Z height to get my blocks drawing correct…

Draw order when working with Reference files

Hi forum, I am drafting Construction documents for an architectural project with Rhino and I found an issue that I need to resolve: The draw order in my original file is lost when I have it as a Reference file in another document. In this new document, the hatches and linework from the original file print in wrong order. I used “ClearDrawOrder” then “SendtoBack” and “BringtoFront” to organize my elements; and detached and re-attached the reference file, but the error is still happening. Any …
