Display mode of point objects

Is there a way to display points as small X’s, like that in 2D drawing (AutoCAD,LibreCAD, etc)? It’s my old school mind nagging me..
A way to make Rhino substitute an object, like a block or group??

I’ve put that feature request on the list as RH-89410 Display: Symbol Point Display

Oh, sorry..

Where the point object settings are, have a browse.. or something where the user can reference a .3dm that has the object for the point style - with its center at (0,0,0), and only using the geometry from the object - not all the other stuff.

And have it behave like the other objects in the pull down.

The second idea (external reference) might be gilding the lily, though.

I just saw the request - That list is nice!

I tried Grasshopper shortly, but went back to my “safe place”. I didn’t even know the option was in Grasshopper already. Hmm…
