Display Conduit draw gradient

Hi there,

I would like to draw a 2d-line into one of the corners of my viewport.
In this example I saw that the solution might be an image.

Is it really only possible with an image or am I missing an option to draw a gradient into a 2d-rectangle or onto a 2d line?

You can draw whatever you want. Do you have a screen cap of what you want to draw?
