Discourse, image Upload drag & drop not working on Safari

I am under mac os x 10.15.7, Safari 13.1.3
Since some days (or maybe 2 weeks)
i can not drag and drop image-files into this edit window of the forum
the upload does not work, the editing gets frozen…

works fine under Firefox

Drag and Drop an image will result in this situation and not and… (writing this post in firefox)

When I work on my Mac, I always use Safari and I’ve not experienced that issue.
Both my macOS and Safari versions are newer, though…
