Disable "magnet" when dragging entities or control points?

When fine tuning a curve that requires micro movement of control points dragging a control point require moving cursor several pixels before it “let go” and start actually moving the point.

Is there a way disable that initial dragging distance threshold at which the dragging is actually occur?

This is not only affected control points but dragging any entity too: you click and hold on an entity, move cursor few pixels - nothing happens, move few more pixels and suddenly the entity jumps to your cursor, than you are free to move it responsively.

And to get this out the way, it has nothing to do with osnap.

Thank you.

Maybe adjust these settings here in Options>Mouse?

Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to affect dragging at all…I had it already set to 2 pixels. In fact I’ve set both of these to 200 and it still takes a few pixels to move cursor before it moves the object. So 2 or 200 has no affect at all…at this point I have no idea what these settings do in the first place…

Don’t know then - here there is definitely a huge difference between 2 and 200. Maybe post your SystemInfo here?

Ok, that setting affects when you click and drag a control point or object without first explicitly selecting it.
