Dir command: With control points and the new PointsOn UV indicator visible, when surface options UReverse, VReverse or SwapUV are used the new UV indicator does not update until the Dir command is completed and closed. This provides the user with misleading and contradictory informaiton. Reported by @Rhino_Bulgaria in Rhino urgently needs these tools! - #137 by Rhino_Bulgaria

Similar behavior with CurvatureGraph on and only U or V curves selected when Dir is used to swap u and v. The curvature graphs do not update until Dir completes.

Note that ShowDir behaves as expected. Reverse U, Reverse V or SwapUV in ShowDir and the PointsOn UV indicator immediately updates.

Dir and ShowDir are basically the same commands, but the difference is that the latter is a dialog, and applies the results immediately. Dir allows you to change your mind, and reset it to the way it started, using the escape key.
It makes sense to unify these commands and make it -Dir and Dir, or -ShowDir and ShowDir

Yeah, these two were confusing me a lot yesterday, as they are doing the same job and are named very similarly (with just swapping the two words in their name).

“Analyze direction” and “Direction analysis”

The lack of an update of the new large UV indicators after clicking on the options made me think that the tools don’t do anything.
